Mental Health & Wellbeing
Between juggling classes, extra-curriculars, jobs, and more, students can become very stressed and even burned out. Our Mental Health and Well-Being Committee work to ensure our students are taking care of themselves and each other. They promote a culture of health, including physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This committee helps the Black Community Services Center actively assist students in building their own understanding of self and community care.
- Kickbacks with food and music to invite relaxation and bonding
- Art workshops to allow students' creativity to shine through via painting, photography, and more
- Community Check-Ins are Informational sessions with the Vaden Health Center and our Black CAPS to discuss campus resources available for students.
