Student patining

Between juggling classes, extra-curriculars, jobs, and more, students can become very stressed and even burned out. Our Mental Health and Well-Being Committee work to ensure our students are taking care of themselves and each other.  They promote a culture of health, including physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This committee helps the Black Community Services Center actively assist students in building their own understanding of self and community care.

Quarterly

  • Kickbacks with food and music to invite relaxation and bonding
  • Art workshops to allow students' creativity to shine through via painting, photography, and more
  • Community Check-Ins are Informational sessions with the Vaden Health Center and our Black CAPS to discuss campus resources available for students.
