Black Community Check In

Thursday, April 9, 2020 - 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

The Black Community Services Center is hosting a Black Community Check-in on Thursday, April 9th from 5:00pm-6:30pm (PST) via Zoom. It’s important for all of us to be seen together as a collective to support Black students so Jan Barker- Alexander will be sharing some brief updates about Ujamaa and the Community Centers and Allyson Hobbs will also be sharing brief updates about African and African American Studies (AAAS).

The majority of this check-in will be spent hearing from ALL OF YOU! Undergraduate and graduate students please come with questions, concerns, positive thoughts and anything else you would like to share with the community. There will also be clinicians from Black CAPS, colleagues from BEAM and other departments participating in the check-in to assist with answering questions. They'll also share resources you all have access to while on and away from campus.
