The Experience Sankofa Project Living Museum is an innovative installation exhibit that combines history, live performance art, and sacred altars into an interactive timeline that brings African and American history to life.
This project highlights and commemorates the Black diaspora experience, and in light of that, groups moving through the living museum will go through moderated discussion sessions before and after the exhibit to reflect on the project. We welcome all members of the community to thoughtfully engage in this experience!
The exhibit is part of Stanford's Education Against Racial Hatred educational event series.
There will be seven 45-60 minute public viewing sessions on Nov. 21. Please RVSP for any of these sessions here.
