Brent joined the staff of the Black Community Services Center duing the 2015-2016 academic year as the Assistant Dean of Students & Associate Director. He is originally from Columbus, GA and lived most of his adult life in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Brent brings to Stanford over 10 years of Higher Education experience ranging from Multicultural Affairs, First-Year Programs, Residential Life, Greek Life, and Academic Affairs. He received his BBA and MPA from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Christian graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Upon graduating from MSU, she moved to Houston, TX and taugh 5th grade mathmatics for 3 years. Durng her summers off, she serves as the Director of Residential Life for a non profit decicated to creating pathways for underserved students to become scientists, mathematicians, engineers and computer scientists. Upon her third year of teaching, Christian decided to pursue her passion of working in higher education. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a master's degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs. During her time at UConn, Christian worked with Intercollegiate Athletics, Student Activities, Multicultural Affairs, Residentail Life, and First Year Programs & Learning Communities.
