EHJS Mentors

What are EHJS Mentors?

Our program relies on our wonderful graduate and undergraduate mentors who provide mentorship to our frosh and assist in their personal growth and development.

It is essential that our graduate and undergraduate mentors are committed to and engaged in the program. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Holding weekly sessions with mentees
• Creating a curriculum and activities for their sessions with mentees
• Hosting one of our EHJS Grad Mentor Power Hours (special workshops and activities curated by graduate students based on their unique interests and areas of expertise)
• Attending at least one of our Network & Chill Series which is dedicated to creating structured and sustained spaces for black graduate and undergraduate students to engage in monthly mixers,  roundtables, and activities
