Volunteer Student Organization Fund

Overview

The BCSC has a long history of providing support to VSOs through guidance, mentorship, and funding. Below you will find guidelines on how to apply and receive a grant. We have a set amount of funding set aside to support VSOs with programming/events. Please apply one quarter before you need the funding. Our limited funds means we will not be able to fulfill every request. Email stanfordbcsc@stanford.edu or Dr. Maya  mayaid@stanford.edu with any questions. 

Information to keep in mind 

• You are welcomed to apply 1x a year
• Submit the application one quarter before you need it.
• Apply in fall if you need funding for spring. Spring is our biggest giving quarter.
• We are here if you have questions. Reach out if you have them!

Application Materials

1. A completed budget. You can use our budget template if your organization needs a place to start. The templates are in a shareable VSO Drive.
2. Your ASSU #
3. Event details: date, time, location, community your event serves.
4. A description of what you plan to do with the funding.
5. A list of confirmed co-sponsors.
6. A list of offices, departments, or organizations you will reach out to for co-sponsorship.
