Social / Party Guidelines for all BCSC Spaces

  1. ALL non-academic events held in the space must  send a representative to the Black House to sign our social / party policy at least 24-hours before the event. This policy outlines all guidelines and expectations associated with all non-academic events. We are able to set up a virtual meeting if you are not able to visit the BCSC before your event. However, we highly recommend coming to see the space. This will enable you to better plan your event and understand what we can and cannot offer.  Click now to review our social / party policy. 
  2. If you are hosting a social or party, you are required to put in a work order for extra custodial services and trash/recycling via this Buildings and Grounds Maintenance link and/or this PSSI/Stanford Recycling link whether or not you have food. Again, you have 3 days after we send your reservation confirmation to email us copies of your confirmation forms from Grounds Maintenance and PSSI/Stanford Recycling. 
  3. Important: Failure to comply with our social / party policy and cleaning standards will result in loss of reservation and could lead to your organization or department being charged a $100 service fee. Non-compliance will also revoke your ability to access or reserve the BCSC community room, lounge and deck for the remainder of the academic year. Click now to review our social / party policy.
